A tale as old as time...
or at least as old as my daughters. Ever since my kids were very young, they love asking me this question:
"Hey Dad, if you had to give up coffee or beer which one would you choose?"
For many people the answer may seem simple (especially if you ask my doctor) but I don't agree.
Looking back through my camera roll it would seem like BEER is the clear winner. Sure, maybe there are a lot more photos of 'me and beer hanging out' but that doesn't necessarily make us 'better friends'. There is also the fact that my daughters LOVE COFFEE and we have made many memories together going to different coffee shops.
In my opinion this question is a riddle designed to create a circular paradox (much like the chicken or egg debate). So whenever they ask it I never give a definitive answer, but I usually end up at the same conclusion:
"I'll give up BEER in the morning and COFFEE at night*"
* I occasionally break both of those rules, sometimes on the same day
So which one will you pick?
Whether you prefer coffee or beer, hopefully we can all agree that you should own some FUN drinkware.
